How to get from Midi Station to EDA Offices by Metro:
- take the orange line of the Metro direction ‘Simonis (Elisabeth)’ and get off at ‘Trône’ station (5th stop). - follow the ‘Rue Montoyer exit’ in ‘Trône’ station.
How to get from Central station to EDA Offices by Metro:
- take the red and yellow line of the Metro direction either ‘Herrmann Debroux’ or ‘Stockel’ and get off at ‘Arts-Loi’ station (2nd stop). - take the orange line of the Metro direction ‘Simonis (Leopold II)’ and take off at ‘Trône’ Station (next stop). - follow the ‘Rue Montoyer exit’ in ‘Trône’ station.
From Zaventem Airport
How to get from Brussels airport to EDA Offices by train:
By train, Brussels Airport is less than twenty minutes from our offices. From 6:00am till nearly midnight, the Airport City Express links the airport with Brussels South, Central and North four times an hour. A one-way ticket costs 2,80 € second class and 4,30 € first class (as from 1 February 2007). The train station is located in the basement (level -1) of the terminal building itself.
Timetable information for the Airport City Express is available on the Belgian Railways (SNCB/NMBS) website; enter Zaventem Airport as the departure or destination station.
How to get from Brussels airport to EDA Offices by bus:
There is a bus line operating from Brussels Zaventem airport to Brussels ‘Luxembourg Station’ (Schuman area), which is only a five minute walk from the EDA Offices through to ‘rue du Luxembourg’ and ‘rue de l’Industrie’. There are 3 buses per hour. A single ticket costs 3 € and is available for an hour on the entire Brussels transport Network.
How to get to the EDA Offices by car
How to get from the Netherlands to the EDA offices by car:
- follow directions Antwerp Ring. - on Antwerp Ring, take exit Mechelen/Brussel via the Craybeckx tunnel. - after Mechelen, the motorway splits into two: Direction Mons, etc and Direction Namur, Liège, Zaventem. Take the latter. You are then on the Brussels ring. - take the exit Liège/Leuven and follow the direction of Brussels (on the right). - follow the motorway for approx. 4 km where you will see a sign for ‘European Community’. Follow this sign which will bring you through a tunnel out onto Avenue Cortenbergh. - at the end of this street you will come to the Shuman Roundabout. - follow this half way round and take the ‘Rue de la Loi’. Keep in the left lane (passing Europa Hotel on left) and take the third street on the left, ‘Rue de la Science’. - drive down this street passing a square (keep straight) and Rue Belliard (keep straight). - turn right at the next street ‘Rue Montoyer’. You can then look for a parking space and the EDA/EWPA offices are situated on 14 Rue Montoyer.
How to get from Germany to the EDA offices by car:
- follow the E40 via Liège to Brussels. - follow signs for the European Commission. This will bring you through a tunnel out onto Avenue Cortenbergh. - at the end of this street you will come to the Shuman Roundabout. Follow this half way round and take the ‘Rue de la Loi’. - keep in the left lane (passing Europa Hotel on left) and take the third street on the left, ‘Rue de la Science’. - drive down this street passing a square (keep straight) and Rue Belliard (keep straight). - turn right at the next street ‘Rue Montoyer’.
You can then look for a parking space and the EDA/EWPA offices are situated on 14 Rue Montoyer.
Parking in the vicinity of EDA Offices
Loi Car park: The Loi car park is accessible through No 19 ‘rue de la Loi’ and through No 25, ‘avenue des Arts’. It is suggested to follow the ‘rue de l’Industrie’ pedestrian exit.
